Enlisted in Company C, 75th Regiment Ohio Infantry 24 October 1861 Eaton, Ohio. He was was wounded in action at McDowell, Virginia. (now West Virginia). For a time he was hospitalized at Franklin, Virginia. He is buried in a common grave (soldiers) at the National Cemetery, in Staunton, Virginia. |
