John William Appleby wrote,  "I am really proud of the fact that I have such a long history of Veterans.  

This was one reason I volunteered for combat duty."  John's great-great-great-great-grandfather, William

Appleby, served in the Revolutionary War, with  family members in every American War from that time.

   John's service record is  for the conflict, "Just Cause", involving Manuel Noriega.  At that time, "Just 

Cause" was the largest single contingency operation since World War II.  

   John is the son of Gene and Jacqueline Appleby.  He is married to Linda De Leon and they have one

child, Kiley Ann Appleby and Linda's son, Christian.
